Me I am going to be watching TNA and then followed by WWE , I would like to see some competition and maybe WWE can drop the pg rating , hopefully with Bishoff on board Tna can really go somewhere , and what do you think TNA's big bombshell going to be . I think they will announce a deal with UFC or something !

I watch WWE but I think I could live with outit, but I couldn't live without MMA! So I'm assuiming that UFC + MMA thing was tounge in cheek? (have to ask being the idiot of 2009 and all ;)) Other wise I have no idea how it would work! I have only watched the odd TNA but from what I have seen its similar to MMA's Strikeforce with there amaturish set ups and living of higher brands scraps every now and then!!

I really couldn't get into TNA but WWe has been annoying me, as it has with everyone with all the very predictable aspects of it.

I don't get this whole 'new' Monday night wars thing. It's a one off show for TNA so it's not like it's going to every Monday.

WWE has been really bad recently until this weeks RAW. Good build up's with the teasing of breaking up Legacy so that Ted can turn face and face Orton at WM. Bret Hart returning will be intresting. The only bad part of this weeks Raw for me is that The Miz who is the US Champ (and along with Jericho the only thing keeping me watching Raw), lost twice! to Kofi Kingston. Terrible booking.

Well mate if you had look at the TNA promos Hulk Hogan kinda indicated about going to head to head with WWE and he said that to the media !

I was under the impression that the Monday night war was going to be a regular thing. I shall most probably be watching TNA on Monday as im back at uni so will have to stream whichever I watch. And TNA's move interests me more. Fair enough the interesting stuff might be Hall/Xpac/RVD/Kennedy or whoever debuting, or the fact that its Hogans first one in charge, but i feel there is more promise for TNA to impress me. All Raw is offering is a guy who I never really liked coming back to whine about what happened he left before. Bo ho Bret Hart, a man who works in a profession with scripted storyines didnt want to go through with one and then cried about it being changed, for 12 years. I could moan about Bret at length, but wont do. I think it will be interesting him returning, but I dont think it will have a massive impact, next week we'll go back to the shit chavo/midget 'storylines' underuse of talented workers, and massive pushes to HHH HBK and their buddies. Who is likely to get a rub from Brets return? Sure THD might get a bit more screen time, but it will be Vince and DX who will be the ultimate benefactors once more.

I thought TNA Monday show was going to be a regular thing.

I hope it is because I definitely think WWE needs a kick up the backside, ever since WCW went out, WWE have gone really complacent. Instead of pushing stars we fans wanted, Vince has decided to ram the likes of Cena down our throat. My favourite bullshit statement from Vince was....fans are not buying our ppvs much because people go to each other's houses and watch them now...BULLSHIT....the ppvs suck!

SteD though made a great point on my pitch.....Bret returning to WWE will absolutely thrash TNA on the 4th January. I am actually going to stay up and watch RAW on Monday night to see this historic event of Bret returning.

Dont really get this Bret Hart stuff, Yea there will be a major pop when the music hits but there would be alot of former wrestlers music was played. Bret was never really a great talker and thats all he prob going to be able to do, All he is going to do is push Vince's storylines, He will come down talk trash about Vince and make a few comments that prob 70% of the watching public wont understand due to them either being casual viewers or to young to remember what happened.

Hogans new TNA might be worth watching yes we will get the anti Hogan lot saying "oh he wont bring though new talent and just bring back old faces (funny enough most of these people will be the ones going crazy over "old face" Bret Harts return). But Hogan knows wrestling, He is very good at reading what the public expect from Wrestling, Yes he contributed to the fall of WCW but he was also contributed to WCW kicking WWE arse, and if Eric B puts all his mind on this and dont get power drunk again we all know he has a great wrestling mind.

The TNA Monday night thing is only for one night. I presume if they do well in the ratings they'll make it a permanent thing in the future (if SpikeTV allow it). Although I expect it will be regarded as a failure I do hope TNA does well, there's only so much Hornswoggle I can take.

F4WOnline.com is reporting that former WWE and ECW star Rob Van Dam is almost confirmed to appear on iMPACT! Monday night on SpikeTV.

According to the source, RVD has not signed a deal with TNA but rather wants to work a few shows to see how he is used before signing any form of contact.

Love to see him back in the ring talented star who's wife had colon cancer though I think she recovered thank god . Ye i definitely think he will come back made a blog on WWE universe asking people should he go to TNA or WWE lol  Sadly it got removed !

I dont know which of these will come true, and obiously not all of them will, but throughout the day I have read that appearing on Impact tonight will be:
-Hogan
-Bischoff
-X Pac
-Scott Hall
-Angelina Love
-Brian Kendrick
-RVD
-Jeff Hardy
-Paul Heyman
-Ric Flair
-Orlando Jordan
-Shannon Moore
-The Nasty Boys
-Mr Kennedy
-The Young Bucks

Now while normally I am very critical of TNA for using old guys over the new guys, the sheer number of people rumored to be there is exciting news. Literally any free agent in the wrestling world could be there tonight, and this excites me. How cool would it be to have Suicide win the steel asylum match only for him to reveal himself to be Jeff Hardy. Or some sort of ECW reunion with Rhino/3D/Taz/Dreamer/Heyman/Raven/Stevie, or the nWo rehash. Will Bisch and Heyman be on screen characters? Will the young bucks get a decent debut bearing in mind how many other potential guys could be appearing. Can the company find a top slot for Orlando Jordan or Mr Kennedy, two guys who at one time could have been the next big thing. How many of these will turn up? How will the homegrown guys react. Where will this leave guys like Jeff Jarrett and Angle, in the midcard? I am massively excited about Impact, much more so than I have been about wrestling in a long long time, and im talking about 10 years. Last time I was this uncertain of what was going to happen was the last ever Nitro in 2001. So I shall be on TNA tonight, Bret and co can wait until tomorrow.

RVD said on his website yesterday that hes not going, so unless thats just a lie to try and make it more surprising he wont be there. Im interested, and i will be sure to watch, streaming the first hour now, so they have an hour to impress me.

Watched both , TNA was much better Raw , Raw wasn't that Special . TNA had great names , Hardy is most likely going to Sign with them , the thing I was most annoyed was the ads could have been easily 10 - 12 breaks , don't know what happened with Ric Flair one minute here another gone . The minute Bobby Lashley came out , I just knew he would quit ... Kurt Angle vs AJ was a great match people were complaining that it was getting to be a joke with all the finishers but in WWE they did that with Micheals vs Taker and and The Rock vs Stone cold there loads of finishers in both matches . Both shows ended shit tbh , Hulk Hogan did a big David Caruso moment

TNA wasnt great to be honest, big let down. Hardy debut was epic, as it was a complete swerve. A couple of decent matches, the Knockout tag, and Wolfe vs Pope, even if it was short. Angle vs AJ was great, but not really a fair advert for Impact, they cant just give away a ppv quality match on Impact every week.

Add into that adverts, pointless segments, the Nasty Boys, adverts, Mick Foley wandering around at random, a pointless Val Venis cameo, adverts, Orlando Jordan, adverts, the ridiculous interference in the main event, and did i mention adverts?

Theres one more Impact before Genesis, and no matches have been hyped, no fueds have been built, and really nothing has been done, other than letting us know that (shocker) Hulk Hogans gonna be there. Surely this is a problem?

This weeks Raw just seemed to be planting the seeds for the road to WM now with the whole somebody's going to get kicked out of Legacy, U.S title contender, HBK/Undertaker and Vince/Bret. Wasn't the best Raw but I supose it made a lot of sence with Bret being given a reason to come back every week. Rumours are TNA are very happy with there rating and may make the Monday night thing a permanant thing but with them only gettin a 1.5 rating, I don't think WWE will be to bothered.

From what i've heard iMPACT will be on one monday every 4 weeks as a trial before going full time. I watched both this week and although it was great to see Bret back it just felt the same as usual to me, TNA was kind of the same but with the cameos and debuts i enjoyed it more. I hope TNA does succeed just so WWE up thier game to compete, it hasnt really been exciting since the invasion angle for me.

Depends what the "plan" is, If its as I belive to start this as day 1 then no its not a major problem, Instead of using the tv shows to start fueds and direction etc they could start them at Genesis (perfect PPV to re-start TNA), Normally a PPV is sold on its matches, In this case they dont need to worry about that, Hogan being there should be enough to bring in enough fans to make it a sucess,

If they are jsut going to carry on in the same vain as pre-hogan then it becomes a problem but I dont see that being the case.

Well seeing Bret back gave me goosebumps! For me it really was a historic night and him with HBK in the ring was something else. Unfortunately though I wanted to see him be used in storyline and maybe screw DX out of the tag titles or something.

TNA sounded really interesting; Jeff Hardy was a complete shock!! But bringing back guys like Hall, Waltman, Flair etc.....oh come one!! Move forward TNA with the talent you got instead of bringing back these old WWE/WCW has beens. In the short term that will pull in viewers but again what more can guys like Flair and Hall contribute to the industry?

TNA just did way too much and ended up saturating the show. Hogan was giving it all this bullshit about it being about the young guys yet Beer Money (possibly best tag team in North America), Eric Young (worldwide belt holder) and Daniels didnt get in the ring, Morgan and Homicide got less than a minute in the ring and Woolfe got jobbed out!

Instead we got 3 backstage segments for Nasty Boys, 3 with Beautiful People/Val Venis, 3 with Hogan and about 20 minutes camera time wasted on Nash, Hall, Waltman - ridiculous!

Monday night should have been two hours, start it with Jarrett (let the poor sod have his moment), then Hogan sets the scene and then let the originals tear the house down (with Kurt), then promise the big name arrivals week on week to attract people to the Thursday shows , simple!

Jeff was a total waste - second most over person in the WWE for over a year and hes debuted on a run in after the curtain jerker which was a farce of a match. Flairs big arrival - shake a few hands and walk to the ring to watch - Wow!

TNA have the chance to launch something special if they get the balance right, sadly I dont see Hogan keeping his ego in check and letting it happen.

Did you watch the show Ste? I've Sky Plused it on Saturday night...but its only advertised as being 2 hours long??

I will watch it and see how it panned out on TV, it did seem as if they were trying to do too much. My god I forgot they even brought back the Nasty Boys and Val Venis lol!

The Bravo version is a 2 hour edited version, you'd have to use the Internets to find a full version of the show.
