We beat Bournemouth 4-0 with Danny Rose and Obika scoring one each and Pavlyuchenko getting two. Seen the goals but thats it and it didn't look like it was played with much energy from the goals I have seen.
Next we play our partner club, San Jose Earthquakes, before competing in some competion in the USA where we will play New York Red Bulls and then Sporting Lisbon. After that a Spurs 11 take on Leyton away followed by Villareal at home. Then a Spurs 11 take on Ipswich at Portman Road. But seeing as we are playing Benfica in Portrugal on the same day at the same time I doubt there will be many first teamers! And then last of all we have Fiorentina at home. Its a shame that the Fiorentina and Vilareal matches are really over priced because I would of liked to go to one. And on a side note like Jake mentioned my local team took on Ipswich Town and got beat 9-1. It was enjoyable and I hadn't expected Keane to take such a strong squad. Pablo Counago got a hat trick which sums up the gulf in class between us.

Forgot to comment on our friendly against San Jose Earthquakes.
We were unimpresive and it was a boring 0-0 draw. We had chances and most of them fell to Robbie Keane who looked the rustiest player out there. He had simple chances which I would fancy scoring and he somehow failed to take them. Our whole team looked ragged except perhaps Andros Townsend who seemed to take this more seriously then anyone else which is understandable. Only our second pre-season game so I didn't expect much but was still disapointed. At the moment I amwaiting for our match against New York Redbulls where some blokes making his debut apparently. Looking forward to it and hopefully we will have improved.

Waste of time.
We are still unimpresive and were fortunate to win. The Red Bulls outplayed us first half and had a few great opportunites. Hutton was awful and so was the rest of the defence. Worst player of the game though was once again Robbie keane. Shocking peformance and still he looks rusty. Lazy, weak shots, offside and judging by the COYS forum I'm not the only Spurs fan who didn't like the fact that Keane actually scored. He didn't deserve it at all. And the commentator was the worst I have EVER heard.
Awful commentating, awful peformance, time for bed.

Entertaning friendly against Sporting Lisbon today. I think that was a great result for us. Sporting have all their World Cup players back and are fitter because their season starts on Thursday I think.
Keane improved a lot for this game I must admit but I still couldn't care less if he leaves. He scored and should of had a assist to his name as well but Bale missed a easy chance. Our deffence was shocking throught the game though. We had 3 right backs playing out of position which was very strange but our worst deffender was playing in his normal right back position! Alan Hutton once again could not defend at all. Bale was immense and worked really hard once again. Even when he took a knock and was visibly hurt he still kept on going. Adel Taarabt was the most suprising player. He has really change his game and only hogged the ball once which really makes a change for him. When he doesn't play like Adel Taarabt he looks a good player! His passing was fantastic so I can't see why he doesn't use it more often. Even the commentator dd a decent job! Yes he called Gareth Bale Gareth Barry twice but he soon got the hang of it. Our support was fantastic and he seemed really impresed by it. Shame that there were a few people in the crowd qwearing Arsenal & Chelsea tops who were signing along with Spurs songs. It didn't look natural and was clearly plastic. Quote of the day has to go to John Obika who won man of the match. In the US they clearly don't hang about! They dragged Obika off the pitch and 20 seconds after the game had ended he was having his interview in the tunnel! Obika had this to say. Interview guy: Is this your greatest moment in a Spurs shirt Obika: Yeah this season, definantly. Classic!

Watched the first half of Uniteds 2 - 1 defeat to 10 man Kansas City Wizards. I know it's only a preseason friendly but if this is supposed to be the new batch of youngsters that Sir Alex is going to unleash of the Premier League then I see a depressing season ahead!.
County are off to a good start with a win in the first round of the Challenge Cup. We are looking for a top half finish, Challenge Cup and a decent League/SFA Cup run - getting to another final would be nice but i'd be happy with a good home tie against Celtic or Rangers!.

Very bad peformance today losing 4-1 to Villarreal...
Were 2-0 down at half time with Rossi scoring both and the first half was the worst I have seen in our Pre season. The defending was once again shocking but I like to tell myself that two of those defenders won't be starting. Doesn't make me feel any better though. Keane & Defoe both demontsrated why they should never be allowed to play up front today. Defoe was useless and keane was even worse! At least Defoe got in to the right areas, half the time I couldn't see Keane in the box! Hutton has played in every friendly we have had and has been shocking in all of them. Apparently up at Sunderland they loved him, they can have him straight back. On to the very few positives to come out of the game.. - David Button is indeed a better keeper then Ben Alnwick which isn't saying much at all - Kyle Walker looks like a VERY promising young talent - Dean Parret played very well too - If Dos Santos can play the way he did tonight he has to stay at Spurs - If Levy is in Florida as some have said, hopefully he has watched this and realised why we need money fast The thing that really wound me up today is remembering that England play a friendly three days before the start of the season.... ridiculous timing considering the world cup players have just come back this week and have two weeks to get ready to play a whole season for their clubs...
